i started taking photos of the eclipse through my window
because i thought it'd be too cloudy or too low to see
but i ended up going out later in the night
and spent about an hour outside
the moon ended up setting into the trees
almost exactly once the sun got too bright to see the moon

i spent like 2 1/2 hours outside in the cold taking photos
at an angle my tripod was not built to handle
the wind and the cold got to me before maximum coverage
■November 2021 Partial Lunar Eclipse■
i only went outside around 04:00 (maximum local time)
